Problem is that Fascism doesn't necessarily denote the same concepts as Nazism, for eample not all fascists are antisemetic or interested in eugenics or even racial/sexual/religious divisions in general, Fascism in general is a political idealogy focused on the concepts of Nationalism (usually carried to extremes), military expansion and state oriented economics (not quite to the communist/socialist extremes however). For example when dealing with a group with strong homophobic inclinations in their idealogy and whose stories are the origins for antisemetic sentiment in the world only a comparison to Nazism wil do
