Not that Jandre is necessarily a fool but that bet is foolish given that they both sell almost exactly the same amount at the same time but the PS3 has more ground to cover than the 360.

But who knows, maybe Black Friday and the general Xmas shopping frenzy was/is going to be morebeneficial to the PS3 than the 360?

Despite a rough start and a lot of initial problems, it's still keeping up with the 360. That's actually pretty good.

It took a clearance sale and two price cuts for them to be "only" 7.5 months late on their initial forecast of 6 millions sold by the end of march 2007. I would lot doing in 12 months what you thought you would do in 4.5 months to be pretty good and I doubt Sony does either (though I wouldn't expect them to admit it).
