Ah, I think I know now where your (new) user name comes from (Dead Can Dance?). BTW, I bought "Deep" when it came out. It's the only Peter Murphy album I own, "Cuts Yuo Up" is a fantastic song, but overall I prefer David Sylvian over Murphy. (Sylvian and Murphy never worked together afaik, but they have similar backgrounds as lead singers/writers of legendary 70s avantgarde bands and they're somehow connceted as Mick Karn was Japan's bassist and worked with Murphy on their one album project Dali's Car).
OT: I don't have an idol. I never admire the person, I always admire the work. I could easily list hundreds of artists from classical composers to soundtrack composers, from solo musicians to duets to bands, from screenplay writers to movie directors to actors/actresses, whose work I admire, but none of them is my idol. (Noticed something? I don't read books).
If I had to name three artists though, whose work I admire the most, it would most probably be J.S. Bach, Miles Davis and Charlie Chaplin.

yes, its from Dead Can Dance, i really love their music, they're pretty unique and atmospheric, i was more than happy when Bauhaus covered their song, so happy that i uploaded it on youtube.
i used to not have an idol, but David's personality is really amazing, that doesn't mean i'd copy him, but its just an inspiration, everyone did bad things even him and im not going to copy that like a fanboy does
