So one spinoff and one that hasn't come over seas yet? This is the first gen where we're only going to get one main Final Fantasy game. They managed to produce 2 last gen and 3 prior to that.

Last gen they did 3 FF's, FFXI counts, even though it was a MMORPG.

Your point was that you complained that they only released Final Fantasy games and nothing else, which isn't true. S-E main franchise is Final Fantasy, they have never avoided that nor have they tried to flee from that fact, but they also focus on other main franchises, and tried to do some new ones this gen as well, even though they weren't succesful.

No, my point is they should focus on making NEW games. I don't want a remake of FF7! I don't want a rerelease of FF6! I want new content.

And yes, I stand corrected. I did forget about FFXIV.

In that issue I agree with you, I stated on previous similar threads that S-E shouldn't bother with more FF remakes, it would be better if they focused their resources into making new content, but I also can see on how a remake can interest lots of fans out there, especially those who haven't got the chance to play the game before or just don't bother to play it now, because, let's be frank, FFVII hasn't exactly aged well.

I would enjoy if this was the announcement for KH3 much more if it was a FFVII remake announcement, but either way, it will be a win-win scenario, at least for me ;)
