1'36s are finally cracked. My new time for the tuned is 1'36.979

Whoa that one is gonna be hard to beat .

I keep screwing up the second part of the track.  Yesterday I actually had a lap at -0.220 on the split before the last corner leading to the oval but when I saw it I freaked out and screwed the corner .  Anyway I am happy we are moving our times to something closer to the real records. Including AoiRayn here too.

Yeah i know what you mean. i can currently get in front of my new time by about 0.130 - 0.280 but then i mess it up turn 8 and end up being neck to neck through 9 and 10.

It's competition like this that makes you faster. You find yourself pushing harder when your actually racing against someone you know rather then the ghost of the top players.

AoiRayn is doing insanely well for using a DS3. I'd hate to see what times he'd pull on a wheel.

Wow, you guys are really pushing it far, it's getting too hard for me with a DS3 now :p Good thing I get my G25 either tomorow or tuesday :D Though it'll probably take some time getting used to.. I probably won't beat my record untill next year..

Do you guys race on manual or automatic? As I don't have a driver license (Gonna take it when I turn 19), I think it'll take a while getting used to manual with G25. Any tips and tricks? ^^

Good job both of you! keep pushing :)

I always use manual. When doing time trial events i tend to only use the paddles as you can change gear alot quicker then the sequential gears or H pattern gearing.

I will warn you though when you get the G25 you will be ALOT slower then when using the ds3. Happened to me and i almost thought why did i even purchase the wheel when im slower or get near same times. Just keep at it and you will suddenly see those times fall and then pass what you could accomplish on a controller.

As for setting up the wheel with the GT5:P and TT. I suggest you turn the steering to simulation and power assit to off. Turn force feedback to 8 or 10 depending on how you feel. I have it on max force feedback so i can feel the bumps and when the car starts slipping.
