is Arkham really that good?

I thought so. I mean, I could see plenty of scope for improvement too - bigger levels, better stealth, really hiding in shadows, etc.

But for it is a great first release with a new IP, way better than say the first iteration of Assassin's Creed and, and I'm sure the sequel is going to see nothing but further improvements.
