What happens to Nintendo after Miyamoto retires?

He is awesome almost to the point of being a super hero but he did not do it all alone. The fine men and women of Nintendo have labored many years with and without his help on many projects that have gone on to become major successes in the video gaming world. Nintendo's vast success at blowing away the competition is not due to Miyamoto's work but instead their work with Miyamoto. He will live on as a legend in video gaming long after he leaves the company as an inspiration to all Nintendo personnel. His legacy will be preserved by the minds that he helped foster on all the projects he pour his heart and soul into.

As Miyamoto grows older, we must not ask what Miyamoto can do for Nintendo but what Nintendo can do for their beloved Miyamoto as he enters his golden years.

 Well said, but a short study of the History of Miyamoto sort of implies that Nintendo would probably not have existed at all (or at least as it is today) without the hiring of Miyamoto-san at a young age -- when Nintendo was still a trading card company... Nintendo of America was dead in the water until Miyamoto-san's "Donkey Kong"...   Here's a good read:
