Quite simple..
Let's compare to last year..
I've only taken the first 3 weeks from each year in december.

December 2008:
Wii: 4,022,552
PS3: 1,349,017

December 2009:
Wii: 4,211,242 (up 5% from last year)
PS3: 2,219,439 (up 65% from last year)

I would say PS3 does very good and Wii does okey looking at these numbers

LoL. Ok so even though the PS3 is up so much yoy is very good while Wii is still selling twice as much as PS3 is
in general despite PS3's huge yoy increase is just ok..Now I get it.

Well, in general of course Wii is doing very good, but on a weekly basis, compared to last year, it's doing okey.

In other words, I would say it's much more impressing seeing a console sell 65% more than last year, than a console keeping it stable compared to last year.

I believe last year was Wii's peak, and I think it'll just go down from now on, in difference to PS3. I think it's peak will be next year.
