Techno pop has been around since the 80's. It's nothing new. The early 90's had a particularly large amount of pop singers with techno beats.
(I can't remember how many mix tapes I made in the early 90's that had AoB on it)
(given that my fiancee and I grew up in the 90's, we think we're going to have this one at our wedding)
