I haven't played it much so I cannot judge the rest of the game but I have a busy life and to me a pause option is almost a requirement for me to play a game.
I know other games have multiplayer you cannot pause but if I need to answer the door or telephone or help y partner with something suddenly the worst that happens in most is I may die from someone/thing and I'll have to respawn. For such an option gone in an RPG a death could mean a lot of work and progress lost, I think it is pretty terrible you cannot pause. |
Fair enough, I can relate to that, because there have been times where I needed to lay down the game to study or to go work, but I've found that if you do a hard exit from the game (Hit the PS button and choose Quit Game), the next time you start up the game, you'll be on the same area with the same amount of progress you had.
It's not the same thing as pause, and it's more tedious if you compare the time it takes to start up the game once again, but it's something worth to look after if you ever get to play the game again ;)
