| Girl Gamer Elite said: KH3 will easily be on the Wii. You people are always crying how the Wii appeals only to kiddy demographics but now you don't want to believe a game targeted towards that young audience belongs there especially with Disney's favor of the Wii? Tsk, Tsk. |
KH is NOT targeted at the child demographic. How would it be? Look at the story, things like Organization XIII and the Chasers, and the gameplay, and then tell me how it's targeted towards kids. Just because it has Mickey in there?
Do you really think kids understand things like "the origin of the keyblade", "Xemnas' true purpose" or the reoccuring theme that Hearts have in the game?
I hate the logic of "It has Mickey Mouse, so it's for kids". It's because of that logic that either A) People are somehow convinced that it won't be on PS3 and B) People miss out on a great game because they think they are belittling themselves because Mushu is in the game
You guys seem to ignore that the ongoing story, and the things that intertwine them don't appeal to little 8 year olds, nor do they appeal to granny. The fact that it has Disney characters in there was to connect the Final Fantasy audience with their pasttimes, not vice versa (they put Disney into Final Fantasy, not Final Fantasy into Disney), and that's why the game still plays like a Final Fantasy, rather than a Disney game. And because of that, it seems unlikely that KH3 would come to the Wii, because the only games you guys seem to like are party games and Mario (I know things like MP3 and Zelda, and No more heroes are on the Wii, but if the Wii really is geared towards the "casual" audience, then why would a "casual" player devote 40+ hours to a game, if he/she only "casually" plays the Wii?)
