Whether Sony owns the IP or not the fact remains is that MS is not going to buy off a Playstation exclusive that manage to sell only 500k so far.
Of course I'm not saying that it didn't sell well, (it actually sold better than what Atlus expected) but this isn't the type of multi-million selling exclusive MS is usually trying to buy.
