My point isn't that the first game people play is a Miyamoto game. My point is that Miyamoto saved Nintendo, which brought back console gaming. If making games capable of saving an industry doesn't make you a great developer, I don't know what does. |

Not quite. Sonic wouldn't have existed if Nintendo didn't bring back the industry. SEGA only got into games because Nintendo proved it profitable. Prior to consoles SEGA was operating bowling alleys. They continue that sort of thing today by owning Gameworks
