AdventWolf said: But if someone can manage to save up for a PSP in lets say 6 months, then that means they might be possibly able to buy 4 PSP games within the next 6 months. It is not impossible, they are just impatient and choose to pirate. It may take longer than someone with more money but that is simply how the world works. I buy not even 8 games a year. I have bought probably 5 games this year. So that pirate has the ability to buy more games than than I buy in a year. To me 5 games is enough, because I still go back and play good games that I have bought years previous. Is 8 games a year not enough for a pirate? |
You still fail to grasp the very basic premise... that is... very basic.
Once again. You would never purchase a game at $200 correct?
You would not "save up" and be patient and buy games for $200 dollars... correct?
So, why in gods name would you expect someone else to save up to purchase something they think is too expesnive for the cost?
The point is... to most people who pirate. The price of a PSP game is the equivlent of a 200 dollar PS3 game to you, or whatever said barrier from buying a system would be.
If you ask 100 people what they think a fair price is for something, the prices they give will vary widely.
