RRoD, My Old Friend...

After the 360 from a friend of mine had a RROD he bought an external ventilation.

He never had a RROD again but the external fan was extremy loud. Most people say my 360 sounds liek a jetengine but they are exagarating.

Someone ever heard those mini model jets they have small turbines. And they are noisy too his Xbox sounded almost like this model jet engines.

But he had never technical problems with his 360 again. I heard once that in the 360 they dont use enough copper for the heatpipes.

To get a bunch of good games at chrismas without a chance of playing them is hard.

I wonder how many Consoles MS sold more because of RROD. I know in the end its lesser but a lot people buy a second or a third Xbox360 because the old one had a RROD maybe there are more PS3s active in different households then 360s. On the other Hand there are probably a lot of PS3s which are used only as BR Player.
