READ IF YOU PLAYED THE FIRST METAL GEAR SOLID

Could that mean that Sniper Wolf could be alive too? I remember that in the ending where Meryl lives Otacon stays inside Shadow Moses looking for Sniper Wolf, so if Otacon survived inside Shadow Moses and if Sniper Wolf's wounds weren't bad she could have survived too! So, do you think Kojima will give us that big surprise?

Well, when I first played Metal Gear Solid 2, I thought that ment that it was coming from the 'bad' ending from Metal Gear Solid where Meryl dies. However, with Metal Gear Solid 4, that obviously isn't the case and stuff from the end of the game supports it.

Okay, Sniper Wolf (as somebody else said) is dead, she requests Snake to kill her after the battle in which he puts a bullet in her head. That is where Snake places Wolf's handkerchief on her face and you can see it after you regain control with blood soaked through it.

Anyway, onto the end of Metal Gear Solid. If you get the 'good' ending, Otacon will stay behind to open the security doors to help Meryl and Snake escape. After Liquid is finall dead, Snake requests to Cambell over codec to send a helicopter to retrieve Otacon and Cambell agrees. This way, Otacon will still be there with Snake to start their anti Metal Gear group (forgot how to spell it so I'm not going to try) as well as giving Snake his stealth unit to use in MGS2 (where it breaks when you get on the boat anyway) because Otacon's stealth unit is the only one that survived because some soldiers stole the other four and set a trap to try and kill Snake on the elevator after the helicopter battle with Liquid.

If Sniper Wolf returns from the dead, there better be a pretty good explanation.
