First of all, it was a severely stripped down demo of the 'PHYSICS' from GT5, I have been hearing it was just a bit under 300 MBs. Which means everything from the graphics to whatever else, was reduced to only put the attention on the realism that could be felt from driving the cars. Not to go, "oooh ahh" look at those graphics.

Secondly, the difficulty was set to professional, so those that were spinning out so often, now know why. If the game was on the normal setting, of course, it would feel less "real" and more like an arcade racer. Which means the guys that were spinning out often on the "real" setting, will do so less on the more arcade setting.

Excellent points!

Especially the fact that this Time Trial demo is only 250MBs or so (even less in some parts of the world) should tell you that the fugly graphics ( I mean look at the spectators) is intentional and doesn't matter.

What matters though is that the on track physics is amazing. Finally I was able to learn trottle control and see it work.

OT: Yes my oppinion is changed. I was of the oppinion that I can't drive using the sticks, but now I know I can :D.
