That is your entitlement as a consumer.
However if the product costs more to produce for PS3 due to the system architecture then you may be cutting of your nose to spite your face.
Essentially if the returns are poor initially investment will cause lacklustre ports.
Therefore withholding your custom may force DEVS to consider developing for PS3 a pointless risk in terms of remuneration.
Essentially meaning less ports shoddy or not.
