Hmmm......I use remote play and sometimes the PSP won't turn on the PS3 when its in the same room. And when I turn the PS3 off using the switch on the back, the connection is severed until I go into the PS3 options screen and reconnect my PSP.
So:
1. the guy stole the PS3 and camera.
2. He connected it to the internet and set the camera up where it would get a shot of him
3. The connection with the PSP and PS3 were never severed
4. The thief never changed any of the connection information.
I don't buy it.
