If i have to wear 3D glasses over my prescription glasses or wearing contacts, then no thanks to 3D.

Avatar did great at the box office but not amazing as it was hyped to be. I think the movie(s) that could significantly boost Blu-ray sales will be the Star Wars series.

The movie is 2.5 hours long and it can be only played in digital cinemas in 3D... No one wants to see it in 2D trust me. This movie will have huge legs. Not to mention it did 160 mil first week worldwide outside of America.

Yeah it did quite amazing.

Agreed. It was damn impressive.

Back to the topic: Doesn't 3D films required much more storage space?

I mean can avatar 3D DVD release fit on 2/3 DVDs?

The same for games if m guess is right.
