in response to 360 v ps3 gta IV version and sizes, 360 is 6.4gb whilst ps3 is 4.3gb

didnt you get those the wrong way around?

Nowadays all X360 games are 6.8gb (game data limit of the X360 DVD). Maybe some launch games are smaller. Don't know about GTA IV on PS3 because PS3 is still unhackable so you can't find any PS3 games from torrent sites.

wasn't it 8.5gb on the 360 dvd?

No, likely be 6gb maximum. Microsoft has reserved 2gb of the dvd9 for security leaving developers with only 6gb of space for game data.

If you're going to make something up, at least make it believable.

The only people that will be buying it for the 360 are the ones that are fans of FF, own a 360 and have not yet prchaces a PS3.

I would not even consider getting it for my 360.

Yeah, keep telling yourself that.

Meanwhile, there will be plenty of people that buy the 360 version over the PS3 (myself included if I get it) because they simply like the 360 better.  I'm assuming there's no real difference between the two other than number of discs and 7.1 audio and as far as I'm concerned, those really don't matter.

I'm with you on that. I'm purchasing the Xbox 360 version over the Playstation 3 version as long as there is know major in-game graphic's decrease.

I simply prefer the Xbox 360 controller and I'd rather have Final Fantasy XIII 1000/1000 sitting on my gamertag than Final Fantasy (Platinum Trophy)

Same here, as long as besides the cutscenes and audio they're equivalent I'll stick to the 360 version.  With a game as big as this will be, I'd rather have my mates on xbox live to chat to through all those hours of gameplay.  The controller preference in fairness doesn't bother me for these games as they don't require quite the same level of finesse a FPS does.

Disk swapping will not be an issue for me as I have over 50GB free on my HDD.
