For a comparison... just a year beforehand it was supposed to sell for 20 million. However, the deal fell through.
Yeah, Michigan is in dire straits.
Though, if i remember right... this has been 20 years in the making. Houses being abandoned in detroit has always been an issue. It's just gotten worse lately.
That'd be an interesting expierment with government money... buy all those houses on the cheap, and make entire parts of detroit government housing.
Would never happen though, since too many people ironically mostly leftwing would be claiming that you were sequestering the poor to their own little part of the country.
Ignoring the fact that a house is better then no house.
