We are not talking about whether or not the consoles this gen can render games in 1080p but we are talking about them rendering movies and they very well can. And even so movies do not need to be rendered in720p to be 3d.
Out of gaming sony and other important manufacturers have really been pushing 3d TVs recently for 2010/2011 releases and those being compatble with Blu-ray, so we know it is technically possible the question is do you think that with important marketing and the success of Avatar that can succeed ?
