And how many people specifically bought a DS for Brain Training? As in "I have to go buy A DS Right now so I can play Brain Training!" |
There is no specific number in the same way there's no specific number required for a game to be described as "big". But it is an identifiable phenomenon. It happened with Monster Hunter for the PSP. Would anyone disagree with the idea that Monster Hunter was a different sort of phenomenon for PSP than FFXIII has been so far for PS3? So far, FFXIII is more like a much bigger Monster Hunter Tri, which would qualify as a "system seller" in the literal sense. I'm not excluding the possibility of FFXIII ending up a killer app which is why I said "not yet", though I don't see it happening.

So far? Yes, go on, compare this one week to the many that Monster Hunter has been out for PSP. /facepalm

Obviously. Hence "not yet". Have you been following the conversation?
A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
