by the sounds of it, it looks like you shoulda gotten a ps3, it brings free wireless internet, you dont sound like the type of guy that would want to pay for your internet and have to get a wireless adapter *thats just by your post

Umm. He got the 360 for free. Why should have he gotten a PS3?

If you have a hard drive, you can take to friends house that has 360 and internet and download a bunch of demos to play, then go home and put your hard drive back on your 360 and play.

Umm this is a bad idea. Whenever you download something from XBL it is licensed to the hard drive and the console. So even if he downloads it from XBL on another console he won't be able to play it unless he is on XBL

and just do what the turtle guy said

Actually, demos are free to play regardless of which console you download it from.  I put a ton of demos on my sister's hard drive.  The DRM problem comes into play when you try to put full games on somebody else's HDD.  Arcade games revert back to demos and Games on Demand titles won't work.  If he just wants demos, taking the HDD back to his friends house isn't a bad idea, at all.  The OP would definitely get on the guy's nerves, though!!
