Well, they haven't raised the price here in europe, it depends on what type of repairs your PS3 needs.
Mine's had a burnt Blu-Ray unit, two weeks ago, I sent it to Sony for repairs, and got it back for 150€.
It's a 60 Gb B/C from the first batch in March 2007, I rather have that repaired than to buy one, to me, it's the best model of the PS3 :D
