Meh, don't let them get you down, they aren't gamers anyway.

How can someone who pirates and actively tries to destroy the gaming industry call themselves a gamer?

It sucks they get early access to games and get them for free when you don't, but hey, at least you aren't a greedy selfish douche.

I've pirated games before, whoop de doo, doesn't mean I am not a gamer.

Just because I don't want to put down _ amount of money down on a game I might not even like, doesn't mean I am not a gamer.

What if the game doesn't deserve _ amount of money? What if there is no demo to this game, and you want to try it out?

I don't pirate games to get "early access", it's more of "I want to see how this game is.. will I like it?"

When there isn't even a demo, how the hell are you going to know if you like the game or not?

Blockbuster requires money, and time. What if you live in the middle of no where and need to drive/walk miles to get to the nearest blockbuster or gamestop? (I don't, but still.)

Why would I put myself in the hassle of renting a game I can get online?

What if I am the type of person who pirates the game to get a feel of it, and if I feel its worthy for my money, I will go buy the game? Still mean I'm not a gamer or what?

Well, lets see:

  1. You can say you pirate to demo only but I don't believe you.
  2. I'm not sure why you think you should always be able to get something for nothing.  Demos are privaleges, they aren't exactly a right.
  3. Do what everyone else does and read a review or ask someone that has played it.  I very rarely play demos yet I somehow always know what to expect.  How is that?  I read reviews and ask friends.  It's a simple concept.
