PS3: more expensive system to buy. I assume the 360 Arcade will be able to handle FFXIII no problems, but will serious FF fans be in the market for "just" an Arcade? Even so in many countries the Elite is cheaper than the PS3, though not in USA.
PS3: the traditional home for Final Fantasy for the last 2 generations. PS2 owners who haven't yet made the jump (or have gone with the Wii while they wait for FFXIII) will tend to go for the PS3???
vs XIII PS3 exclusive, what sort of effect will this have on the console buying decisions of serious, long term FF fans?
FF XIV is a timed console exclusive, though might be more suited to PC which is releasing at the same time so 360/PC owners won't miss out. Possibly nil effect there.
