It seems that you fell for Microsoft's arcade trick eh? No you can not download demos onto CD's. If you wish to tho, you need either a Ethernet or wireless adapter, and you need xbox live gold or silver.
**Update: It turns out torrent sites do have xbox live demos, so if you are good with computers this should be easy to do then.
