It would seem like it destroys the whole point of playing the game. 

Play a few minutes then watch a long cutscene it seems like it would kill the Immersion


I don't see much logic in that. I enjoy cut scenes a lot because they expand on the story in a great way. The people who get bothered with cutscenes, well go play an FPS or something. I despise FPS yet I don't go around complaining because no one is forcing me to play them.
