Ok you were talking of the movie not the game itself, I see. Advent Children was simply awesome tho. And actually spirits within, if you understand the story, is not that bad either.

 

I meant the games. Square or Squeenix hasn't made a Final Fantasy game worthy the name since 9. VII,VIII,X,X2,XI,XII and more recently XIII are all style and no substance at all. It's a shame that diehard fans nowadays are more enthralled about CG sequences than what is most important...the GAMEPLAY.

FF 7 with materias and FF X with sphere grid, had a lot more gameplay than FF 9. You really have strange arguments you know.
