are the costumes available early in the game? how do you usually get costumes in tales?

believe it or not, i've never gotten a costume in any tales game i've ever played, i've seen vids of costumes on youtube but never gotten any, i don't even know how >_>

Sidequests. Tales games don't even give you hints of where and when to start them (and the cut off point is usually too fast in a lot of cases) so unless you're looking at FAQs on GameFAQs or get lucky you won't be bale to know when or where to start them. Usually second playthrough of Tales games I look at FAQs because I'm gonna miss a lot of sidequests the first playthrough. The good thing is that in this game anyone who has a smiley over their heads means a sidequest will start if you talk to them so they seem to have fixed that finally I think.

In this game you can also get costumes from DLC (Scamco).

Realy really nice to hear :D  this makes getting secrets more efficient, not easier, just less redundant and random.

i really appreciate that in a game (when games tell you that there's something secret in the area, without telling you where). In Muramasa this was SO SO SO helpful, intead of looking everywhere for each item in EACH area, the game would flag the area with an icon, if there's an item there or not, or if you already got it.

This is weird but this just hyped me up a little bit, lol

oh, and lol @ the Scamco comment.... i personally don't really care, i like having the option (who doesn't like options???lol) if the costume DLC is nice i think ill get a couple from the start, just for some options and woredrobe changes every now and then. i remember one costume for Sophie which had spiral hair, I'm definately getting that! :)
