Final Fantasy XIII disappointing?

I translated some of the reviews on google. Its seems alot of them have a problem with the long cutscenes.

 That ruined MGS4 for me, although I had no real idea what the hell was happening during MGS4 due to not playing the PS2 versions.

"killing a wandering Bahamut" is a trophy so maybe theyre like the weapons. Plus theres that huge dinosaur looking creature in vids.

 The trophey list didn't throw up too much in the way of epic quests/challenges, I was semi disappointed.

 There are 16 secret trophies but I kind of assumed they're just for going through the story. I think it has a similiar bounty hunter quest type thing like FFXII though? Or did I imagine that.

i think youre right. Where you can traverse between the two planets for "jobs" i believe. Yeah, but some of the story related quests or battles could be epic.
