Music is waaaaaaaaay more important than graphics, even in film. If you have a good song playing, people won't mind if you have really horrible editing. That's how people can tolerate MTV and commercials. Good music helps the mood more than bad editing hurts the mood. I think it's because people FEEL audio much more than visuals. Graphics can't make you dance, ya know?
I'm with MM2 all the way in every category. I've always had MM3 as a close 2nd because it has the bosses from MM2 and MM3. And MM9 is also my 3rd favorite now.
