I'd agree with that.  I just mean in the overall vote.

3 was the best of the Sliding Megaman games.  I find myself missing the slide in MM2.  Though 2 is still the most enjoyable.

For me in large part the music determines how much I like a Mega Man game. While most of the latter Mega Man games recycle boss and stage themes, I don't mind it in MM9, because it has the best music since MM3. From MM4 onwards the music just kept getting worse and less memorable. Of course MM9 does more things right than just having good music, so it ranks pretty high in my list of favorite MM games. I am not sure if I like it more than MM3, but it's at least my third favorite of the whole bunch.

Generally, music in video games doesn't get the credit it deserves, it's way more important than graphics.

I agree with that.  I'd actually go a step farther in that i miss the NES and SNES style music.  It was unique... now it's usually just generic classical or rock music.
