Honestly? I'd prefer fun with decent/crap graphics. That would mean games which are cheaper to produce, and thus cheaper to buy. It also means games that can be produced faster, which means I have a better selection. Case in point: I'd love to play Duke Nukem Forever. But its makers are so tied up in the "awesome graphics" element, they just won't put it out. if they would just release the game, even at the graphics level it was 5 years ago, I'd be having more fun with it than I am currently, and I'd probably be playing its sequel before the one from our real timeline comes out. I'm not trying to take away what Kuturagi did, but there are a lot of people who would argue that he did more to harm the industry than to help it.
