Bioware on Mass Effect 2 competition: "We're not worried at all".

First, Mass Effect 2 is a day one buy for me. The first Mass Effect was a masterful science fiction rpg. Most science fiction rpgs have been far from perfect to put it mildly.

Second, major competition for ME2 as far as rpgs goes will not come until FFXIII. Even then, the majority of FF fans and Bioware fans actually tend to be in different groups. Fallout New Vegas is expected in June. Fallout is really the next big name WRPG after ME2.

Diablo 3 will not be out until after 2010 according to Activision's conference. While I am really looking forward to Diablo 3, the game appears to be a low priority compared to the money making monster that is World of Warcraft.
