Its not even competing with Halo. In all honesty, Halo is not a hard core shooter. Its a casual games shooter full of 12 year olds. It appeals to mainstream cause of its bright colors, cheesy charachters, cheesy one liners, humor, cheesy story, great music, the idea of a super soldier kicking ass, super jumping abilities, etc. Killzone is a hard core, gritty, dark,violent game. It wont appeal to the casuals.
