Oh, I didn't realize we were at the point of insults yet, how brain dead of me... I've played the game more times than years I've been alive. The story is not too big for it's own good. And it is not linear by my definition (already stated this). I've played and finished the games more times than I could count on a couple sets of hands. I know the twists and turns, the ins and outs, it's the perfect fit for a perfect game. If you think it's too "grand" then maybe you missed something, or maybe we just don't see eye to eye (duh on that one). I don't think I've veered anywhere (not going to point my finger) other than from my chair to the bathroom tonight. In each reply I took the time to address the topic at hand, Final Fantasy XIII. A game like FFXIII, which I hope will be as amazing as I want it to be when I finally get my hands on it, will not bother me if a few hours are linear. And I will wait to pass my own personal judgement on the game, until I get it and have owned it for more than 24 hours. |
you still dont get wat im saying... im not in literally saying the story is too much, more that its sooo deep that it affects the pacing of the game.. the game was constantly pushing you forward, 2nd disk forced you to go forward. All im saying is FFXIII might be following this grandiose storyline where ithe pacing constantly moves you forward intill u get to the story break point... which im not a fan of, I didnt like it XENOGEARS, I didnt like it in FFX, and im not gonna like it in FFXIII.... and my apologies about the brain dead ur little snide comment about me not understanding XENOGEARS iwas wrong and really had nothing to do with my cllaim, ive played it a good deal myself
