He did the art for Final Fantasy 1 through 6 and he does the logos now for the entire franchise.

This make me think that its maybe him that dont want to get involve more. Maybe he has other things that he prefer working on. I cant see how a company would remove a guy that worked on 6 previously succesful games.

Unless his art style just didn't work with the move to the early 3D Playstation and after Nomura had such a huge success with Final Fantasy VII, they didn't want the hot streak to end, but I think it's time for a game series where Amano gets to take back the helm of the art.

Im pretty sure its him that dont want too. If he would like to do that, he could easily find a job in another company or another project no?
