few reasons:
CHEAP.
NEW CONTROLS.
APPEALING TO CASUALS, NOT GAMERS.

I think what he was trying to say was, that it doesnt appeal to the hadcore crowd that want hardcore shooters, online, and nice graphics.

It mainly appeals to the casual. You guys are hardcore ninty fans so you dont count.

so hardcore gamers are the people that only like shooters eh,also i owned a ps1 and 2 so i am not a hardcore ninty fan,but with all these great first party i sure am turning to one now

Hardcore gamers are gamers that want to play good games, the wii has plenty so it does appeal to some hardcore gamers.
