They might... but IMO much slower than they bought HDTVs.

@ocnkng that's exactly why these new 3D TVs use 120 Hz, it gives 60 Hz for each eye which should avoid any headaches.

 

I thought at the last invetor's meeting, SONY said their future relied heavily on 3D technology. i.e. 3D in Bravia's, 3D PS3s, the investment into developing 3D cameras with James Cameron

I agree that it'll be a while before it becomes mainstream.
