The vast majority of current TVs does NOT support 3D. You need a 120 Hz TV, and not just any 120 Hz TV. One which can actually accept a 120 Hz signal (maybe you'll be surprised to know that some 120 Hz TVs are just generating every other frame internally in between the ones received in the 60 Hz input).
If your TV had a label of "3D-ready", then it should work. Very few TVs do.
