Top 10 Zombie Games

I was worried they'd put Resident Evil 4 at the top of the list even though the game doesn't have zombies. Nice to see they remembered that.

I'm kinda surprised they didn't put Doom or Doom II on there. I know the game is about demons... but, if they count Dead Space for having an alien-caused zombie plague, they should count Doom for having a demon-caused zombie plague. Isn't the traditional concept of zombies about "the dead walking the Earth" and not "a microbe that creates zombies?" The saying is "When Hell runs out of room, the dead will walk the Earth," and I don't see a better way for that to happen than the way it does in Doom: a teleporter teleports zombies from Hell directly into your space station on Phobos. Most of the enemies in the game are zombies, the guys with pistols, shotguns, and chain guns. Everything else is a demon.

And OF COURSE the best zombie game is the one that was a ripoff of the best zombie movie. Awesome!

And Zombies Ate My Neighbors is amazing. Not only one of the best zombie games, but probably the best monster game ever, with every classic movie monster in the same game.

Great list. If I made it, I probably would've snuck Metal Slug 3 in there, just for the zombie levels, since you can kill tons of zombies, OR turn into one and barf everywhere to kill more zombies.
