Burnout Paradise on the PSN is awesome (and cheap)

Fat Princess (for the wife)
Singstar series (also wife material here)
Batman AA
Infamous
Dead Space, Bioshock, Fallout (if you havent already played them)
outside of that I would say embrace blu-ray if you don't already have a player. Buy a blu-ray remote, buy the PSeye (or wait till the motion drops) Video conferencing is actually very good on the PS3.
