It may not be a smash hit, but it showed that JRPG's on their traditional formula can still work nowadays. Alas, the one HD JRPG I can remember that got much more criticized for going into a more Action oriented style is Infinite Undiscovery. Plus Star Ocean IV got criticized as well for going a bit far from it's original formula. JRPG's in the traditional formula can still work, if they are well executed ;) |
I geuss the annoying thing is about this topic is that ppl pick games dont need remake, there just graphics whore who need to play everything in HD. I like remakes when they serve a purpose or need on one, why does FF8&9/LoD/Xenogears ext need a remake? what could be given to these games other than better graphics
