I disagree with some of the people in this thread in that I think Gears could last LONGER than Uncharted and still remain somewhat fresh. What happens if in the third game, the humans discover where the Locust came from and launch an offensive? That's another two games, easily, all with vastly different weapons, environments, enemies, and even characters if they wanted to go that route.
I don't think I'll care about Nathan Drake if he's still prancing around an exotic locale looking for another buried treasure for the fifth time but put me on the Locust home world and I'm all over it.
