Uncharted - Could it become one of the greatest gaming series of all time?

Oh well it is definitely not there yet IMO, I just personally see it as having great potential. I put my trust and faith in Naughty Dog, I sincerely think they can bring Uncharted to that kind of status. Uncharted may never have the sort of popularity and sales the bigger games have but it can no doubt have the quality (In which you can already argue Uncharted 2 has shown already.) 

Oh, it's definitely a fun series that delivers solid gameplay and that Indiana Jones feel to it. It has a few faults but overall, I don't have much bad to say about the games and Naughty Dog will probably end the series before it starts to grate on me.

Still, I just don't see it entering legendary status. That sort of thing is usually found in games that use an overarching storyline, not a serial formula.
