Ocarina of Time.

Fun, but I don't get exactly get why it's considered be the greatest game of all time by some...

you probably aren't old enough to have lived through it and according to your sig you started with a PS1. By todays standards it is a good game, but at the time it was revolutionary. This game is up there with Mario 64, Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda (NES), The Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past in terms of how many times I beat the game. Most people who revisit it probably won't be as impressed as those who got it when it first came out.

Then I'll chime in, because I agree with Xen. Yes, it was a good game. But it was too easy; the exploration factor for me just felt lacking. It was the first Zelda game I found every item in without having to look anything up. And I don't recall dying much, either. Overall, it didn't really wow me.

However, my game of choice for this is NSMBWii. It's a great game... until the play control screws me. I can not see this in good conscious as GOTY when playing the game itself is a chore in how steady I can hold the Wiimote. And don't get me started on some of the other games, like FF7. If I let the game stand on its own, it's okay. I'm more disappointed in how it's a Final Fantasy, especially when compared to the prior 3.
