sorry to butt in being new to the forums and all, but 3d tvs arent that new
its not something that has just being started, 3d tvs are already being introduced to the market and other companies like philips are working on 3d tvs that dont require glasses.
i have a link that is over a year old but it's in portuguese, however if anyone can read it and is interested: http://www.biovolts.com/seccao/gadgets/outros/520-tv-3d-da-philips-nao-necessita-de-oculos
anyways, i think a couple of years from now it's very likely that 3d tvs start to become more common.
a few days ago i was watching a footbal (soccer) game with some friends and i saw a 3d camera, that was so cool :)
